This infographic reflects my interest and knowledge in retro anime. It was difficult trying to keep the text condensed to a minimal. Despite this, being minimal was my primary goal in creating the graphic. I didn’t want to fill it with too many images or chunks of text that would otherwise be distracting. The design of the template makes it easy for the eyes to move in a left-to-right motion. When I turned the image to a PNG the embedded link went away (https://nerdist.com/article/akira-30th-anniversary-anime-spiritual-experience/). Thankfully, I still included the name of the article in the source. Overall, now that I’ve created my own infographic, this allows for visual creativity that is otherwise not shown in essays. It also makes it easier to grab someone’s attention.
